“Epic” (2013) - Debut Trailer
20th Century Fox and Blu Sky Studios (Ice Age, Rio) have released the first trailer for their latest project, Epic.
This fantasy adventure film finds a teenager in a completely new world deep in the forest where she stumbles upon an escalating battle between good and evil. There she must join forces with a ragtag group of characters to save both their world and her own.
While generic as the plot may be with a trailer that pretty much screams Avatar, I’m still pretty intrigued by this movie. I’m not a huge fan of what Blue Sky Studios has put out to date, but Epic feels like a step in the right direction with this trailer.
Epic is set for a May 24th, 2013 release.

I actually really like the trailer… up until they throw in typical family fun humour at the end of the trailer.

Leaked “Total Recall” (2012) Teaser
Though the first official image was released months ago, here we have the first teaser for Len Wiseman’s (creator of the Underworld series) upcoming remake of the classic 1990 Paul Verhoeven sci-fi flick which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger.
This updated remake stars Colin Farrell and is based on a short story by Phillip K. Dick. As you can see in this teaser, a bit of the film’s action is on display along with many key scenes that fans of the original film will be able to make out. It also features a cast that includes Wiseman’s wife, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bill Nighy, Bryan Cranston, Bokeem Woodbine, Ethan Hawke and John Cho.
Total Recall is set for an August 3rd release opposite of The Bourne Legacy.
