To Our Readers
Just wanted to pass along and share with you some Pop GO-related news, announcements, updates, etc.
1) We’ve recently organized our reviews into one big Review Section. You’re now able to pull up every single review (ones not lost by Tumblr) that staff members past and present have written, which has been quite a lot. Hopefully that makes navigating through old reviews much easier for you.
2) Later today we’re going to be publishing a special group Spotlight. It’s actually been awhile since we’ve written one. We think you’ll enjoy the topic that will be spotlighted today, so it’s one reason to check it out.
Another reason is an opportunity that will be provided for our readers which will be detailed at the end of the Spotlight. You’ll have a chance to take a stab at today’s topic and have your thoughts/opinions/answers be featured in a future Reader Spotlight.
Even if you don’t plan on participating, give our group Spotlight a gander as it should be a fun read. Most importantly, share your thoughts in the comment section! :)
3) Speaking of which, it brings me to one final tidbit. We understand that site-commenting for the most part is not a regular practice in the Tumblr world. Likes and reblogs are the common ways to show your appreciation for our posts, and the latter is the main form of public communication, and we appreciate that you do so. But we still love for it and encourage all of you to share your thoughts and opinions on our posts via Disqus comments.
That is why we will start rewarding readers who actively comment on posts. How and when won’t be revealed until the time comes, but hopefully it’ll give some of you the incentive to frequent our Disqus.
When it comes down it, our staff has just been yearning to actively communicate and start discussions with our readers about the news we share and the reviews and segments we post. So when you can, stop on by from time to time and let us know what you think!
